Designed for the anniversary of the attack on the holy shrine and Mosque of Al-Askariyain, also known as the Golden Mosque.
This is the first time I try a love style design
my friends keep asking me to do one so here it is and yes it's still Islamic
The picture was taken by me of one my college & coffee buddies
he gave me a hard time taking it, he just didn't take it seriously until he saw the final result
and the words aren't mine, I took them from an old tape.
I couldn't help but to think I was affected by my dear friend,
, styles & designs. Check his gallery out and you'll see what I mean
thank you bro
a dear college friend of mine
hope you like it
Here is a rough English translation of the poem:
She has tamed me with her love while I excavate my heart and wander through memories
I wish for my heart to see her, so that love and life would melt within us,
She is the dreams of life, she is the sea of pride,
and she is bounded with flowing musk and coral
thus my ribs awoke, to greet her voice
for it was for her that romance descended to the edge of fairytales
My head used to satiate itself in the folds of her bosom pulsing with the sweetest wishes,
I forgot all my worries and drowsily drowned in a paradise of yearning
All secrets of creation, are hiding by her side
and I stayed up with her on those moonlit evenings,
when I was her darkness, filled with her music,
for she is the sun and I, from her light, became the moon
She is the land of God, blooming with high glory
and the abundant amber stream in sweet perfumes
Her nights are seen in slates of nymphs and radiance,
She is "Samerra" for it's hosting "Imam Hadi"
The big white writing says "Samerra" and after it the verse from the poem is completed with glowing words to show that the land in which Imam Hadi, Samerra, is buried is the loved one mentioned through all this poem.
